Overview

Bodyshop Manager at Halo ARC Chandlers Ford. Halo is the industry leading UK-based accident repair group with 35 centres across the UK and growing. The Bodyshop Manager ensures the smooth running of the workshop, supports staff welfare, and maintains Halo’s quality, customer service and speed of repairs. You will report to and work closely with the Regional Manager in a modern, fast-paced, clean environment, collaborating as a team player and consistently meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the team is ready to begin work at 7am, including opening the workshop and turning on equipment.
  • Hold daily morning meetings to delegate tasks, communicate targets, and address issues.
  • Oversee the correct use of equipment, uniforms, and tools to support staff well-being.
  • Discuss vehicle status and potential challenges with the Regional Manager, including vehicles on-site and due in.
  • Update CJS to provide customers with accurate repair progress updates.
  • Order parts for upcoming vehicles at least 3 business days in advance.
  • Manage work volume for vehicles due in and currently on-site.
  • Ensure all vehicles have 10-stage repair images for a complete and accurate job pack.
  • Monitor and manage wet and dry stock levels.
  • Maintain quality control of repairs throughout each stage of the process.
