Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Chertsey is looking for a BMS Engineer to monitor and maintain automated systems and HVAC. Responsibilities include responding to alarms, supporting maintenance teams, and involvement in projects. Candidates should have a background in electrical engineering and experience in building controls. This position offers a starting salary of £54,000 with 40 hours per week and generous holiday entitlements.

Job description

My Client now has an exciting opportunity for a BMS Engineer to join their team at a prestigious site.

It will predominantly involve monitoring highly automated equipment/plant/hvac.

PPMs and Reactive maintenance and providing support to the M&E maintenance team if required as well as supporting the projects team in the design, commissioning and installation projects.

Responding to system monitoring alarms for mechanical and electrical systems (i.e. power electrical distribution systems, control systems, voice and data systems and refrigeration etc).

Summary of Post
  • Starting Salary £54,000

  • Experience in Building Controls environment

Desirable
  • Worked/trained in leading Building Management Controls by the following manufacturers: Siemens, Trend 963, Schneider, Johnsons, Sauter, ABB, CMR or Honeywell
  • Understanding of DDC/PLC controls to a programming level

  • Instrumentation and/or Controls Calibration
