The Role

As a BMS Assistant Commissioning Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced commissioning engineers, gaining hands‑on experience and learning to deliver high‑quality BMS solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) control systems across commercial and industrial projects.
  • Installing, wiring, and testing BMS panels and field devices.
  • Assisting with system checks, calibration, and fault‑finding.
  • Learning to interpret control drawings, schematics, and software graphics.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to high standards.
About You

This role will ideally suit a qualified Electrician with a background in panel installation or controls wiring who wants to progress into BMS commissioning.

Requirements
  • Electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).
  • Experience in installing or wiring BMS panels or control systems.
  • A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn.
  • Basic understanding or exposure to BACnet, Modbus, or KNX protocols (advantageous but not essential).
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West region.
