Blow Moulding Technician or Injection Moulding Setter

Annual Salary: To be discussed

Location: Northfleet, near Dartford Bridge/Tunnel

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 8am – 5pm (40 hours per week)

Our client is looking for an experienced Blow Moulding Technician to manage operations on our 9 blow moulding machines, serving a diverse client base. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in blow moulding or injection moulding, looking for a stable and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up machines with moulds, starting and stopping the machines as required.
  • Conducting quality control checks on products to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Feeding materials into machines and managing the operational workflow.
  • Utilising problem-solving skills to address and rectify any issues with machine operations.
  • Understanding and applying knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics in the maintenance and operation of machinery.
  • Operating a forklift to manage materials and products within the facility.
  • Working standard hours from 8am to 5pm with potential opportunities for overtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in blow moulding or injection moulding.
  • Capable of independently setting up and operating blow moulding machines.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, with a good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Forklift operation skills are highly advantageous.
  • Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Northfleet.
