This is a terrific opportunity to be part of a small, friendly team in an acclaimed independent non-fiction publishing house.
The position will involve:
• creating and implementing online marketing strategies for new and backlist titles.
• supervising our online representation and social media platforms.
• managing and creating content for our website.
• creating and distributing regular content such as newsletters, blogs and podcasts.
• monitoring and analysing results and reporting back to colleagues.
The ideal candidate will:
• be creative, imaginative and self-motivated.
• be able to initiate campaigns and projects and see them through to completion, sometimes against strict deadlines.
• have an interest in the latest technology and marketing trends and a strong practical knowledge of all social media platforms.
• have a strong commercial focus with a good understanding of how to use digital marketing and advertising to drive book sales.
• have some experience of working in publishing and/or the book trade.
• be able to use graphics editing software to create social media assets.
Location: London, with opportunities for hybrid working
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
