Job summary

A biotechnology start-up in Cambridge is seeking a Bioelectronics Engineer for a permanent role. The successful candidate will design and validate bioelectronic devices for cell monitoring, with responsibilities including data analysis and project coordination. Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and validating bioelectronic devices or sensors.
  • Proficiency in cell culture, particularly with mammalian cells.

  • Plan and execute experiments while providing comprehensive data analysis.

CK Group are recruiting for a Bioelectronics Engineer to join a biotechnology start-up based in Cambridge on a permanent basis.

The Company

Our client are engineering a scalable, end-to-end Cultured Meat production system, including bioprocesses, enabling technologies, software, hardware and raw materials to empower food producers all over the world to make their own cultivated meats tailored local tastes and desired specifications.

Salary

Salary range of £35,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.

Location

This role is located at our client's site in Cambridge.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, fabricating, validating and using bioelectronic devices/sensors for monitoring cells.
  • Bioelectronic and Impedance data analysis and processing.
  • Planning, efficient execution, comprehensive analysis and presentation of experimental data.
  • Coordination of engineering projects.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering.
  • Previous experience designing, fabricating and validating bioelectronic devices or sensors for monitoring cells using impedance.
  • Cell culture, ideally adherent and suspension mammalian cells.
  • Good data analysis skills.
