Job summary

An international insurance firm in Greater London is seeking a Binding Operations Analyst to support data capture across multiple Lines of Business. The ideal candidate will manage underwriting data, foster strong relationships with teams, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. This role requires operational experience, strong Excel skills, and effective communication capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operations, preferably within insurance.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and validate underwriting data from slips and endorsements.
  • Build relationships with underwriting teams.
  • Resolve operational queries quickly and accurately.
  • Train and support outsourced service providers.
  • Work with Actuarial on monthly earnings updates.
  • Monitor data quality and correct errors.
  • Support reporting, audits, and month-end deadlines.
  • Identify and deliver process improvements.

Job description

Our client is a growing international insurer who is looking to recruit a Binding Operations Analyst to join the Technical Operations team.

This role would suit someone who enjoys detailed data work, partnering with underwriting teams, and improving operational processes.

The Role

You will support the accurate capture of risk and endorsement data across multiple Lines of Business, working closely with underwriters, outsourced providers, and internal teams.

You’ll also be involved help strengthen data quality, support month-end activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and validate underwriting data from slips and endorsements.
  • Build strong relationships with underwriting teams and stakeholders.
  • Resolve operational queries quickly and accurately.
  • Train and support outsourced service providers.
  • Work with Actuarial on monthly earnings updates.
  • Monitor data quality, correct errors, and prevent recurrence.
  • Support reporting, audits, and month-end deadlines.
  • Identify and deliver process improvements.
Skills and Experience
  • Operations experience, ideally within insurance.
  • Understanding of underwriting systems.
  • Strong Excel and Outlook skills; good working knowledge of Word and Adobe Standard.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work accurately, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
