The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bordereau processing, excellent technical insurance knowledge, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. I am working with a leading Lloyd's Broker seeking an experienced Binder Technician to join there London team.You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly bordereau, resolving queries, and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process complex technical transactions, primarily related to monthly bordereau for Binding Authorities
  • Resolve pre-processing queries raised by the offshore team within 48 hours of receipt
  • Maintain relationships with the Accounting and Credit Control Team to ensure premium reconciliation and collection
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in bordereau processing
  • Excellent technical insurance knowledge and a detailed understanding of the industry and its regulators
  • Full understanding of end-to-end process models, including SLAs and TATs
  • Proven experience working with the Bureau (DXC) in accounting and settlement protocols
  • Solid knowledge of Facultative business, Proportional Treaties, Line Slips, and Binding Authorities
  • Strong understanding of Market Reform Contracts (MRC)
