Overview

BIM Coordinator (REVIT/CAD)

Bristol location: Yate, Bristol. Salary: £ Negotiable Depending on Experience. Benefits include 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Cycle to Work Scheme + Car or Car Allowance + Excellent Training & Progression + Birthday Off. Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours, mainly office based.

BIM/REVIT/CAD Coordinator required for a growing and successful Building Services Design Consultancy based in Bristol. The role will suit those looking to be part of a fast growing business offering autonomy, flexibility and a friendly driven culture.

The successful candidate will have Revit MEP experience in the construction / building services field.

You will be responsible for generating quality, accurate and detailed records of Building Services engineering project documentation, working within the requirements of the project BIM execution plan. You will work across a range of sectors.

The BIM Coordinator Role

• Modelling, drawing and coordinating, mechanical and electrical designs, to ensure projects can be constructed with little or no rework once the site team commence work.
• Ensuring the latest models, drawings and designs from all other stakeholders are being used and notifying engineers and site team of any changes to these models or drawings.
• Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols
• Implement best practice procedures
• Assisting Engineers in drawing production
• Produce accurate 2D drawings, 3D models
• Coordinating drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines

The Person Required

• Previous Revit MEP experience in the construction / building services field
• Relevant qualification in BIM or Mechanical or Electrical engineering
• Team player
