A prominent global law firm is looking for a Billing Assistant to join their finance team in London. This role involves ensuring that invoices are dispatched correctly and timely, as well as providing billing support to Partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills, along with previous experience in a legal accounting environment. The Billing team is responsible for ensuring that client invoices are generated and dispatched correctly and in a timely manner. The Billing team provides an important support service to the Partners and Case‑handlers.
The role of the Billing Assistant sits within the finance team with responsibilities to maintain a flow of billings in line with agreed targets. The role will include the production of billing guides, write‑off time and disbursements and to also ensure files are closed and instructions are carried out.
