A leading civil engineering firm in Preston is seeking a Bid Manager to oversee tendering for civil engineering projects specializing in marine and flood defense sectors. The successful candidate will lead a team and develop tender strategies for projects ranging from £2 million to £100 million. Ideal applicants will have a degree in Civil Engineering and at least five years of site management experience, along with excellent communication and IT skills. The Bid Manager will be responsible for tendering new civil engineering work within the UK focusing on Marine, Costal, Flood Defence and Water sectors. The successful candidate will be a part of a leadership team preparing tenders varying size from £2m to £100m overseeing the estimation, tender design, commercial, programme and quality submissions.
