A leading transport infrastructure firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Principal Bid Manager to focus on strategic bids for key clients. This role involves managing the development of high-quality tenders, overseeing technical and commercial submissions, and maintaining stakeholder communications throughout the bid process. We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager to join our Transport Infrastructure Work Winning Team in the role of Principal Bid Manager (Strategic Highways).
This role will be focused on leading the development of strategic bids to our key clients in the Strategic Highways market, including National Highways, and previous experience of bidding into this market is desirable. You will manage the development of high-quality, competitive tenders, while ensuring key internal governance milestones are met.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing technical and commercial submissions, manage stakeholder communications, and ensuring a well organised and robust bid process is followed throughout the tender period.
The standard working hours are 37.5 per week remotely, with travel to the IDH Birmingham office or bid locations for team meetings as needed.
