Looking to further your career in SEND? Vision for Education are looking for an experienced Behavioural Support Worker SEND to join our register of supply staff. Do you want a rewarding career where you can be instrumental in making a difference to young people's lives?

This specialist education and care service caters for young people years with a range of needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Behaviour Management, Learning Difficulties, Autism, Attachment Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Please note, this is not a permanent position. As part of Vision for Education's supply register, you can be subject to adhoc, short-term or long-term bookings. As you will be agency staff, we cannot guarantee you work. Experience in either the education or care setting is desirable but not required. If you are new to this line of work, Vision for Education will provide online training for you to gain a basic knowledge of what this role entails.

Pay: £13.68 per hour

Hours: Full time, part time (Agency work)

Start Date: September

Requirements
  • The desired Behavioural Support Worker will have experience of working with primary and secondary school aged children.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • A passion for the progress of pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
  • A drivers licence, car and business insurance.
  • Experience working with behaviours that are challenging.
