A forward-thinking and supportive SEN school in Wokingham is recruiting a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will be supporting pupils with behavioural needs, Autism, ADHD, trauma-related difficulties, and SEMH.

  • Salary: £89-£100 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils manage their emotions, behaviour, and peer interactions
  • Work alongside teachers, SEN specialists, and therapists to deliver behaviour strategies
  • Assist with de-escalation, emotional regulation, and positive reinforcement techniques
  • Support safe and structured learning environments
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and pro-social behaviours
