Vision for Education are looking for a versatile and passionate Behaviour Support Assistant, who can motivate, support and inspire our students in the classroom. This role is based at a specialist school in the Sheffield area that caters for students from the ages of 7-16 years. They provide specialist education for young people with PMLD, MLD and SLD and are looking for a new team member to integrate smoothly into their hard-working team of staff.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you ll contribute to the delivery of appropriate non-teaching support in classroom situations and other settings, working with students with additional support needs on a 1:1 or group basis in accordance with the overall learner support plans.
We re looking for Behaviour Support Assistants who have a range of direct experience of working with young people with behavioural difficulties who are presently attending alternative provision. You will also need a proven ability to motivate students and promote learning.
