A specialized education agency in Rotherham seeks a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a school focused on supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This full-time role starts in early 2026, requiring you to work Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Candidates should have experience or a strong interest in working with SEND students, demonstrating resilience and teamwork skills. Connex Education are working with a specialist school in Rotherham, who are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join them on a full time basis. This role will be starting early 2026.
Providng education and emotional support to students aged 5 – 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, the school have specialist staff onsite who have excellent behaviour management skills and de-escalation techniques. Children are cared for to exceptional standards, ensuring trusting relationships are formed and maintained with students.
The successful applicant will be able to work Monday – Friday and be available to commit to the school and could be a temp to perm role for the right person. Working hours are 8.30am until 3.30pm.
