Job summary

An education agency in the United Kingdom is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to work with challenging students both individually and in groups. Behaviour Mentor – Trafford

Are you interested in working in the Education sector but not quite sure how? You will be working with challenging students both on a 1‑2‑1 basis and in small groups. Having experience of working with teenagers is essential, but it does not necessarily have to be in a school setting. If you have experience as a youth worker, support worker, or even sports coach, please do get in touch!

Responsibilities
  • Work with young people within an Attendance and Progress (AP) program.
  • Provide 1:1 and group support academically and through extra‑curricular activities.
  • Manage challenging behaviour.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience working with young people with difficult behaviour.
  • Strong behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Passion for working and supporting learning.
  • Resilient and patient attitude.
  • Experience working with SEN children (required).
Additional Requirements
  • All candidates are subject to a barred list check.
  • Must provide a recent DBS check.
  • Must be able to provide two references from their most recent employers.
