A leading educational provider is seeking a Behaviour Mentor for a full-time role in South Shields. The focus is on supporting secondary pupils struggling with emotional regulation, behavior, and engagement in learning. Key responsibilities include providing targeted behavior support, encouraging self-regulation, and acting as a positive role model. While experience in youth work or mentoring is beneficial, it is not essential. Candidates will need appropriate qualifications and background checks, as well as a commitment to safeguarding.

Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
This Behaviour Mentor role focuses on supporting pupils who struggle with emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement in learning.
You’ll work with pupils individually and in small groups, helping them reflect on choices, develop coping strategies and rebuild confidence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
