Behaviour Mentor - SEN Provision - Folkestone

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people who need guidance, consistency and positive role models? A specialist SEN school in Folkestone is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team and provide targeted support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD & PMLD. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working closely with pupils to help them build confidence, develop positive behaviours and engage successfully with school life.

The Role: Behaviour Mentor

Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support to pupils. Support emotional regulation and social development. Implement positive behaviour strategies and routines. Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams. Act as a consistent, calm and supportive presence throughout the school day.

What we're looking: Behaviour Mentor

Experience working with children or young people in SEN, SEMH, youth work, education, care or mental health settings. Calm, patient and resilient approach to behaviour support. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Youth Studies, Education or similar are encouraged to apply. A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs.

  • Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
  • £85 - £95 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only
  • You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
