I C Talent is seeking a committed and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work in a "Outstanding" rated SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional, and pastoral support to succeed in education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with SEMH needs on a one-to-one and small group basis
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using restorative and trauma-informed approaches
  • Assist teachers in managing behaviour and maintaining a safe, structured learning environment
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
  • Implement behaviour support plans and individual strategies
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and personal development
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and SEN teams
  • Follow safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety policies at all times
Requirements
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (desirable)
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
