The Be Healthy Project Officer will be based in Derby. This role requires a proactive individual enthusiastic about improving health outcomes and able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive project success through effective communication, community engagement, and data analysis, developing program materials, coordinating events, and assessing the impact of health interventions.

Role Overview

The Be Healthy Project Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating health programs aimed at promoting wellness within the community.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably in health or community services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to analyse data and produce reports that inform decision‑making.
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • Some regional and interstate travel, including off‑road and light aircraft air travel.
  • Occasional public events to attend to facilitate the position requirements (outside of office hours).
Compensation and Perks

The annual salary for this position is $79,806 pro rata, with additional benefits including:
