Duties

Lead and direct all aspects of beverage operations including menu quality control, stock control, training, health and safety, and high-quality operations.

Overview

Bring everyone into play. Bring your 'A' Game each day. Lead by example by demonstrating Puttshack Core Values. Develop the team through coaching and purposeful feedback. Drive associate engagement and entrepreneurial spirit. Promote safe operational standards. Hire all bar associates. Ensure brand and operating standards are met. Monitor beverage costs and guest feedback. Create a positive team culture.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Manage the bar operation with passion, integrity, and knowledge.
  • Assist in achieving sales and profit targets.
  • Plan rotas based on forecast sales and wage budgets.
  • Follow stock control procedures and ensure stock quality and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing legislation and responsible alcohol service.
  • Organize the bar for efficient opening and closing procedures.
  • Build and maintain excellent relations with guests.
  • Oversee billing procedures and review performance for improvements.
  • Assist in recruitment and training of team members.
  • Adhere to all legal and company policies.
