Overview

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in urgent/emergency care triage? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our amiable and professional nursing and medical team at the Lewes Urgent Treatment Centre! Our Centre is dedicated to providing urgent and unscheduled care to the Lewes community and surrounding areas, operating from 08:00 to 20:00 hours, seven days a week. This is a particularly thrilling time to become a part of our team. We have established an Urgent and Emergency Clinical Reference Group to explore innovative ways to enhance our staffing models, clinical pathways, training, and supervision. This initiative aims to ensure all our staff are well-supported and equipped to deliver the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities
  • As a Triage Nurse at the Lewes Urgent Treatment Centre, you will join a collaborative and supportive team of professionals committed to excellence in patient care.
  • Play a crucial role in delivering high-quality urgent and emergency care to our community.
  • Benefit from ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to shaping the future of our urgent care services through the Clinical Reference Group.
  • Work in the Urgent Treatment Centre, triaging, assessing and prioritising patients presenting to the unit while ensuring safe, efficient, and effective treatment of all patients within predefined target times of arrival.
  • Demonstrate a calm and confident approach with excellent nursing and communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.
