Bank Specialist Support Worker – Brudenell Road, Leeds

Role: Specialist Support Worker
Salary: £13.50 per hour – day rate or £15.12 per hour – night rate
Location: Brudenell Road, Leeds
Hours: Bank (Nil hours)

About the role

Our service in Leeds is a brand-new supported living service for 4 clients who are Deaf with complex needs and/or mental health conditions. Some clients may be moving directly from inpatient hospitals.

We are looking for people with:

  • Experience of working with varying degrees of deafness, including those who are culturally deaf
  • British Sign Language (BSL)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health challenges where diagnosis is complex and may present challenging behaviour
  • Experience of working in supported living services or residential care services
  • Experience of Prevention Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) or willingness to undertake this training

You will maintain tenants’ safety, privacy and dignity in accordance with CQC regulations and organisation policies and procedures.
