Overview

An exciting opportunity has occurred for an individual to support the current resuscitation service as a bank resuscitation officer. The successful candidate/candidates will work alongside the substantive resuscitation officers to deliver the Trust mandatory training.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate/candidates will deliver either Resuscitation Council UK Immediate Life Support and/or Paediatric Immediate Life Support, and Basic Life Support in line with CSFH level 2. The majority of these courses are run at Carlisle or Whitehaven; therefore the candidate’s base will be at either of these locations.

The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:

  • Standard Check: £21.50 + Administration cost of £5.90 = £27.40 (deducted from salary over a 4 month period or a one-off payment).
  • Enhanced Check: £49.50 + administration cost of £5.90 = £55.40 (deducted from salary over a 4 month period or a one-off payment).
