Practice Plus Group is seeking a Bank Receptionist for our North East Essex OOH service. You will prepare and open the centre for patients and doctors, ensuring patients are seen professionally and in line with Practice Plus Group guidelines.

Hours are negotiable, but shifts will primarily be scheduled for evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We are looking for Bank Receptionists mainly at our sites in Suffolk and North East Essex.

Job Summary

Our Out of Hours Receptionists guarantee seamless care when most of the world has switched off. With a bank contract, you can pick up shifts that suit your schedule while contributing to a team that values compassion and reliability.

Main duties of the job
  • Greeting patients warmly and registering them efficiently
  • Managing telephone enquiries, bookings and patient queries
  • Supporting clinical teams by coordinating patient flow
  • Handling data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring the reception area is calm, tidy and professional
  • Adapting quickly to changing demands during busy periods
