A leading healthcare facility in London is seeking a Bank Paediatric Anaesthetist to support a developing day case surgical pathway for children. The ideal candidate will be a post-FRCA stage 2 or 3 trainee with experience in paediatric care and EPALS certification. This role includes ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality care for clinically well children aged 3 and above. The position requires a commitment to the successful development of paediatric services.

Qualifications

St John & St Elizabeth Hospital has an ever-increasing paediatric demand within its Urgent Care Centre, as well as within its dedicated paediatric outpatient department.

Applicants need to be EPALS or APLS providers at the point at which they commence work for the hospital.

Experience
  • Post FRCA stage 2 or 3 trainees, who have completed stage 2 paediatric competencies or
  • Non-HEE trainee who has completed FRCA and competencies or
  • Non-training grade doctor who is able to demonstrate their paediatric experience
  • EPALS provider
  • Level 3 Paediatric Safeguarding (hospital is able to support)
  • Able to obtain enhanced DBS check (hospital will arrange)
  • Commitment to support hospital develop successfully, safe and effective paediatric day case surgical pathway
