Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Aria Healthcare as a Bank Housekeeping Assistant at their Huntercombe Hall Nursing Home in Henley on Thames. The home has a CQC rating of 'Good' and is highly rated by residents and their families. As a Bank Housekeeper, you will be responsible for covering annual leave and sickness, ensuring the home is kept clean and infection-free. You will be part of a dedicated team of care professionals, making a real difference in the lives of the residents.

Main duties of the job

The Bank Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control throughout the home. This includes cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized. The successful candidate will take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for the residents to live in. You will work closely with the care team to ensure the home is well-maintained and comfortable for the residents.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications are required for this role, but experience in a similar housekeeping or cleaning position would be an advantage. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
