Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank General Practitioner to join our healthcare team at Derwentside IRC. Derwentside IRC is an Immigration Removal Centre based in Consett, County Durham. The site supports up to 80 women aged 18+ with primary care, mental health and substance misuse service. GP sessions are similar to those in community and focus mainly on acute needs with a holistic and trauma‑informed approach. The site is based around a 25 minute drive from Durham, and 30 minutes from Newcastle upon Tyne; suitable applicant will need to drive as public transport is limited in this area.

Hours
Session can take place Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Salary
This position is a bank role paying £81.98 per hour, depending on experience.
