A public healthcare provider in Kilmarnock seeks a Bank Domestic Assistant to provide essential domestic services. The role requires good communication skills, the ability to work independently, and teamwork. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or in a healthcare environment is beneficial. Flexibility is essential as shifts cover all hours, including nights and weekends.

You will provide a wide and varied range of Domestic Services which support Clinical Services throughout Ayrshire and Arran in line with NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification to fulfil Healthcare Environment Inspectorate Standards and meet Facilities Monitoring Tool Targets. You should have experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential. You will have good communication, verbal or otherwise and practical skills.
You will be required to undertake departmental training including the operation of equipment and safe use of cleaning materials. You will be required to be proficient in and undertake training in the following:

As and When required covering all shift patterns, 7 days, 24 hours. A focus will be on availability to cover all shift patterns including back, night and weekend shifts.
