Overview

Job Summary: Two enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated, and patient-focused Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographers to join our radiology team as BANK radiographers. Services provided on two sites at the Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals. An interview date is yet to be confirmed.

Main duties

• Participate in the Radiographer Shift Rota and Out Of Hours duties on both sites.
• Produce images of diagnostic quality that are properly identified with regard to patient’s name, side examined, date of examination, etc., in line with trust and departmental protocols.
• Be adequately trained in the safe and competent use of equipment prior to operating it.
• Be fully competent in the operation of all appropriate imaging equipment.
• Use knowledge and skill to adapt radiographic technique for complicated cases.
• Be responsible for the welfare and comfort of patients in the department.
