Bank Clinical Support Worker
  • 12.85 per hour (25126 FTE) plus enhancements for unsocial hours
  • Shifts include evenings nights and weekends
  • Located at our children's hospice in Huddersfield

As one of our bank clinical support workers you'll have the time, support and flexibility to make a real difference to the children with life‑shortening conditions and families we care for at Forget Me Not.

Our CQC‑rated outstanding service is family‑centred, holistic and pioneering. And we are focused on giving each child and each family the time and support they need, helping them to make the most of every moment together.

What you’ll be doing
  • Providing hands‑on care for babies, children and young people with complex needs
  • Administering medication and helping with clinical tasks
  • Engaging children in play and memory‑making activities
The skills and experience you’ll need
  • Experience working with children in healthcare education or similar settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed care plans
  • Willingness to learn clinical skills and use specialist equipment
What we expect from you
  • To accept at least one shift every 8 weeks
  • When you accept a shift, to arrive on time and give your best
  • To complete mandatory e‑learning or show us you’ve done it already
  • Be open to working with children with a variety of needs
  • Keep us updated about your availability
  • Be flexible to cover evening, waking, night and weekend shifts
