A healthcare service provider is looking for a Catering Operative to join their team. The role involves delivering and serving food, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have previous catering experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Full training will be provided to successful applicants.
Scarborough Hospital Catering Department requires an enthusiastic Catering Operative to work in all areas of the Catering Department, Main Kitchen, Satellite and Dining Room. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to be adaptable and flexible in order to work variable hours. You must be able to use initiative, be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal and organisational/time management skills. Applicants must be able to work under pressure, prioritise their own workload and be able to carry out physical tasks.
The ideal candidate will have catering experience, be fantastic with customers, a good team player and able to work on their own unsupervised. Full training will also be provided. Enhanced rates apply when working at the weekend.
