A major healthcare provider in Aylesbury is looking for a Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessment and interventions within a multidisciplinary team. Contribution to care provision of patients by providing consultation tothe multidisciplinary team and ongoing support to create and implement care andtreatment plans.
Supervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy providedby any assistant psychologists, doctoral trainee clinical psychologists andother clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care andtreatment.
Undertaking psychological assessment, including neuropsychologicalassessment where appropriate.
Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overallframework of local policies and procedures. To exercise responsibility for thesystematic governance of psychological practice within the ward to which thepost relates.
Responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions forindividuals, carers, families and groups adjusting and refining psychologicalformulations and drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining anumber of provisional hypotheses.
