Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Banding: Band 7

Start date: 24 April 2025 until July 2025

Duration: 3 months

Rate: £28–£32 per hour

Working hours: Monday and Thursday, 7.5 hrs per day, 15 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Pharmacist to join our dynamic client’s team in Birmingham. This role is essential in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services across multiple sites, ensuring continuity of care during annual, study, and sick leave. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues, other departments, external organisations, and the public to maintain excellent service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services, including medication management, clinical consultations, and patient education.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of medications, conduct medication reviews, and provide expert advice to healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, maintain accurate records, and contribute to service development initiatives.
  • Establish good working relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • GPHC registration
  • Significant experience in clinical pharmacy
  • Strong knowledge of medication management and pharmaceutical care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
