A mental health care provider in Bristol is seeking a full time Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join their Learning Disability CAMHS team. The role involves working with children up to 18 years old with moderate to severe learning disabilities and mental health needs. The successful candidate will provide clinical psychology assessment and treatment, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support the development of services. An opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join the Learning Disability CAMHS team in Bristol.
LD CAMHS work with children up to 18 years old who have a Moderate to Severe Learning Disability and who experience a range of mental health needs and challenging behaviour.
The successful applicant will join a small established, and friendly multidisciplinary team consisting of Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Support Workers and Admin.
The post holder will provide specialist clinical psychology assessment, formulation and treatment to young people and their families, specialist schools and the wider network.
The successful candidate will have an interest and experience in working with children and families with moderate to severe LD.
