A prominent mental health trust in Birmingham is seeking a professional to manage a substance use caseload. The role involves delivering evidence-based treatment interventions, providing clinical supervision to colleagues, and leading quality improvement initiatives. Candidates are expected to support non-medical prescribing where qualified and contribute to the continuous enhancement of service delivery. Strong communication and adherence to equity and diversity practices are essential for this role.
Will manage a substance use caseload and will be responsible for the assessment, co‑produced recovery planning, implementation and evaluation of delivered systemic care.
Have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation which govern current substance use service delivery and quality.
Will provide case management supervision to staff within SIAS.
Will support clinical effectiveness of SIAS through completion of qualitative and quantitative audit and support implementation of required action for continuous improvement.
Provide expert support to colleagues around change behaviour interventions.
Will be responsible for ensuring effective communication pathways exist.
Will be responsible for ensuring the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusivity in accordance with best practice and legislation.
Will contribute towards SIAS meeting training and skills required to deliver quality evidence‑based care.
Where qualified, support the non medical prescribing functions of the service.
