The Nursing team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated Ward Manager to lead our nursing team in providing high-quality care and support within our specialist mental health rehabilitation service. This role is pivotal in empowering recovery and promoting teamwork among colleagues.
Your main responsibilities as a Ward Manager:
You will deliver supervision to staff across the ward to ensure excellent healthcare delivery. You will work alongside the Senior Nurse to manage the on-call service and ward budgets. You will provide leadership and expertise to support a unified service and engaged workforce. You will ensure high standards are maintained and improved within the Clinical Governance framework. You will effectively utilize and supervise all nursing staff. You will serve as an expert on nursing care for service users within the specialism and play a key role in the multidisciplinary team. You will maintain a collaborative environment to help ward members reach their potential and provide high-quality care, staff welfare, and training. You will take charge of the ward as designated.
