A healthcare organisation in Birmingham seeks a Finance Officer to support the Finance Manager in providing financial management services. Responsibilities include producing monthly financial monitoring reports, maintaining relationships with budget holders, and enhancing financial understanding amongst non finance colleagues. Ideal candidates are CCAB or AAT qualified with at least two years of NHS management accounts experience. You'll join a team committed to improving mental health wellbeing across the community.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in providing a comprehensive financial management and business support service to the CYP Division.
The post holder will support the Finance Manager in producing and providing robust financial monitoring including budget setting, and various reporting requirements on a monthly basis such as month end, financial forecasting, delivery of savings and general financial performance.
The post holder will be able to build relationships with non finance colleagues and work constructively to improve financial understanding and acumen with regards to budget management and value for money.
The post holder will be able to work with non finance managers to track income and expenditure as well as obtain relevant financial information to support forecasting and any actions resulting in changes to forecasts.
The post involves being the first point of contact for Budget Holders - setting up regular meetings with them to resolve queries, feedback financial performance and feed relevant information into forecasting.
The post holder will be an active member of the Finance Directorate contributing to its development.
