Main duties of the job

Provide comprehensive and professional physiotherapy/rehabilitation services for entitled personnel, undertaking highly skilled and specialist work in the musculo‑skeletal, sports and training injury area. Offer a positive, caring environment for patients, peer‑review and support other physiotherapists and Exercise Rehabilitation Instructors (ERIs) at Aldershot Combined Medical Practice.

Job responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, clinically reason and formulate appropriate treatment plans; develop and deliver specialised individual programmes using evidence‑based practice, manual assessment and appropriate clinical reasoning.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to ensure informed consent and develop good therapeutic relationships; liaise with multidisciplinary colleagues and advise Medical Officers on specialist physiotherapy recommendations.
  • Manage and prioritise your own clinical caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide complex clinical reports for prognosis and onward referrals to other health professionals.
  • Participate in CPD activities and regular in‑service training sessions.
