This post is for a District Nurse Deputy Team Manager with the Swanshurst Team based at Moseley Hall Hospital.

Applicants must demonstrate they have the essential to role DN Specialist Practitioner Qualification.

The post will require nursing interventions to be delivered to clients in their own homes. The post holder will be expected to work multi professionally, support other team member's roles and contribute to the future development of the service. As a deputy team manager you will support the team manager in operational aspects of managing a community nursing team whilst also being a senior specialist District Nurse providing care to our most complex and vulnerable patients.

Consideration will be given around the trusts flexible working policy with regards to shifts.

Main duties of the job

As a senior nurse you will be able to demonstrate good leadership skills, the ability to manage change in clinical practice and processes. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to independently make sound clinical and leadership judgements and regularly supervise the workload of junior colleagues.

We are looking for people who are innovative, forward thinking, flexible and have strong leadership qualities.

Qualifications/Training
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 (Adult)
  • Nurse Prescriber
  • Mentor and assessor qualification or equivalent

  • District Nurse Specialist Practitioner Qualification, or willing to work towards equivalent modules
