A leading healthcare provider in Gravesend is seeking enthusiastic Band 5 Nurses to join their friendly Ward team. The role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to assess and deliver holistic patient care, particularly for those recovering from strokes or neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with strong communication skills, able to work flexible shifts. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Band 5 Nurses to join our friendly and welcoming Ward team based on our Sapphire Ward at Gravesham Community Hospital, North Kent to help us to continue to change things for the better.
As a Ward Nurse, you will work collaboratively alongside our multi‑disciplinary teams. We have 21 beds for patients where you will be responsible for contributing to the holistic assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care. You should be passionate about the rehabilitation of patients who have suffered from a stroke/neurological condition in your care and be encouraging them to aid their ability for independent living.
You will use your strong communication and organisation skills, along with a flexible approach, to ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.

We currently have a full‑time position (37.5 hours per week).

The Ideal Candidate
You will be a registered Nurse with a license to practice and should be passionate about the rehabilitation of patients in your care and be encouraging them to aid their ability for independent living. Our services operate 24/7, so a willingness to cover all shift patterns including nights and weekends is essential.
You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
