Band 5 Mental Health Nurse - Mile End Hospital - Barts Health NHS Trust

Pulse Nursing are currently seeking Band 5 Mental Health Nurses to join our growing team to work for Barts Health NHS Trust. Barts Health NHS Trust currently have a high volume of shifts available and, as a Pulse healthcare professional, you get priority for the best shifts. This opportunity offers flexibility to book in advance so you can plan ahead and be in control of your schedule. We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including full-time equivalent hours, with rates between £19.61 - £30.57 per hour.

As a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to patients with a range of mental health needs. You will work within the multidisciplinary team to provide support, treatment, and therapeutic interventions to improve the lives of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide support and education to patients, families, and carers.
  • Administer medications and treatments, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and risk assessments.
  • Engage in reflective practice, continuous professional development, and training opportunities.
Role Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
  • To meet framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and Updated CV.
  • Right to work within the UK - Proof will be required.
