Job summary

A leading mental health organization in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to support the Clinical Nurse Manager and Matron. The role involves alleviating administrative burdens, ensuring efficient support systems, and managing diaries effectively. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop administrative services for the Clinical Nurse Manager and Matron.
  • Alleviate the administrative workload for the management team within Specialty Services.
  • Identify and implement improvements in administrative and clerical support systems and procedures.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with managers, chase anomalies and correct them.
  • Collate necessary statistics as required.
  • Ensure that all information needs for the service area are robust and that data is inputted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage diaries, prioritise tasks, and ensure schedules and relevant documents are organised and on time.
  • Facilitate and minute meetings, prepare reports, support sickness absence management and follow up on actions.

Overview

A Vacancy at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an experienced PA to support the Clinical Nurse Manager and Matron within Specialty Services.

The successful candidate will provide a pro‑active and organised approach to alleviating the administrative burden of the Clinical Nurse Manager and Matron, delivering a high‑level reliable and confidential personal assistant service. The primary purpose of the role is to alleviate the administrative workload of the management team within Specialty Services and proactively identify areas for improvement in administrative and clerical support systems and procedures.
