Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking a skilled Locum Pharmacy Technician for a temporary role in Worksop. This Band 4/5 position requires NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and registration with the GPhC. Responsibilities include dispensing medications and managing pharmaceutical stock. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills. Work hours are full-time, Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly rate of £15 - £22 depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or qualified pharmacy technician with relevant certification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Rate: £15 - £22 per hour
Working hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 09:00AM – 17:30PM


About the role

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 4/5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Worksop. This is a temporary position for one month initially, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.


Duties and Responsibilities

You will dispense medications accurately and efficiently. You will manage and maintain pharmaceutical stock. You will provide expert advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will assist in the preparation of prescriptions and other pharmaceutical products.

  • Experience/Knowledge:

    • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
