Job description
Overview

To support the work of the London Breast Screening Administrative Hub team by accurate, efficient and timely execution of essential operational activities that support the call centre and all related administration functions, under the lead of the Office Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver on the administration function related to the call centre including close collaboration with external breast screening services within the Pan London structure.
  • Liaise closely with Administration Team Leaders to ensure integration of functions and facilitate cover for periods of short-term absence.
  • Be fully competent in all administration functions required by the London Breast Screening Administrative Hub.
  • Develop knowledge and ability to provide cover for key elements of each others’ work as directed by the Office Manager and Team Leader, including appropriate training.
  • Deliver support services in line with Trust and NHS Breast Screening Programme guidelines and targets.
  • Use experience and judgement to provide appropriate advice and guidance within the given area of responsibility, referring to the Team Leaders as necessary.
  • Work within a shift pattern including weekends and late evenings to cover the Hub telephone call centre and admin tasks.
