Location: Hertford, SG13. Role: Baker. Employer: Accent Catering Services Ltd at a school site. Contract: Permanent, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 2:00pm, term-time only (school holidays off). Start: October 2025.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook cakes, biscuits and traybakes
• Food preparation
• Serving, cleaning and washing up
• Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters, keeping them looking attractive throughout service time
• Speak to customers in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Assist customers when necessary; relay feedback to the Manager or Chef
• Undertake all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
• Clear enhanced DBS check

Qualifications & Requirements

• Good communication skills and a clear understanding of English (customer-facing role)
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous but full training will be provided
