Monday – Friday 8am -5pm

£15.00 per hour

Temporary – Permanent

We’re looking for a skilled baker with a real appreciation for laminated doughs and the precision they require. This role suits someone who enjoys hands‑on production and takes pride in delivering consistently high‑quality viennoiserie.

Duties
  • Preparing a variety of laminated and enriched dough products, including classic pastries and rotating specials.
  • Managing the full production process, from dough preparation through to baking.
  • Working to established recipes and production schedules to maintain consistency.
  • Assessing dough readiness and adjusting processes to achieve optimal results.
  • Assisting with ingredient control, stock rotation and general production support.
  • Upholding high standards of cleanliness, food safety and workplace organisation.
  • Supporting routine checks and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a professional bakery or pastry environment.
  • Practical knowledge of lamination, fermentation and dough handling.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A quality‑focused approach and pride in finished products.
  • Need to be able to drive due to the training location being on a separate site.
