Job summary

A childcare provider in Liverpool is seeking an experienced professional to lead a team in the Baby Room. Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 practitioners in the Baby Room.
• Act as a key person to a small group of babies (3–24 months) and build positive relationships with their families.
• Monitor babies’ progress and ensure developmental milestones are met.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities to support learning and development.
• Support babies in becoming more independent and prepare them for transition into the Toddler Room (24–36 months).
• Promote the health, wellbeing, and safety of all children.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are strictly followed.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
• Report on babies’ growth, development, and progress.

Salary: Depends on experience and qualification

Requirements

• Level 3 early years and childcare qualification (Childcare / Early Childhood).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Baby Room in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Willingness to develop leadership skills and progress within the nursery.
