A leading NHS Trust in Molesey is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Community Mental Health Recovery Service. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessments, managing physical healthcare, and implementing management plans under supervision. Applicants must have a BSc in a related field, passed the PANE, and registered with the GMC. This full-time role offers a salary between £50,008 to £56,908 annually.

The Physician Assistant will be employed by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and will work in the Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS) according to the timetable in the job plan. The clinical supervisor will undertake 3‑monthly reviews to oversee and support the development of the post‑holder, with support from the Associate Medical Director.
The post holder is expected to take full accountability for the care they provide and must adhere to Good Medical Practice and the professional standards set out by the General Medical Council (GMC). Applicants must have passed the PANE, it is expected the candidate to be formally registered with the GMC at the time of application.
Physician Assistants working within the trust are covered by the Department of Health 2012 Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts (CNST), like other staff members.
Subject to reasonable adjustments in respect of any disability, candidates must possess a valid driving licence and be able to drive and have unrestricted use of a car or motorcycle for work at all times including community based work.
